Catching up with Julie (:

Looks like I've been MIA for the past 2 months. Where have I been? In a distant. (: Like, really.

The last post mentioned about C.Studies debate and stuff. However, I did not update with the Visual diary and the rest of the assignments' results. Coursework for Arts was awesome! How much did I get? 67/70. (: %. Awesome ain't it? All I needed to do was to finish the Arts final paper and I'm done and over with Arts. The rest of the marks were tolerable. (: In the end, we all sat for our finals! First paper was on the 11th. Finals ended on the 23rd for Stream B students. What next?

Holidays!

My college mates and I were planning our holidays thoroughly even before the Finals came. We decided to go to Genting! The unthinkable happened, which was, mommy allowing me to go on the 2 days trip! I was thinking, perhaps her perspective of my friends have turned around. (: It was great news to all. :D We went on the 7th and returned on the 8th. I had a really great time with them. Of course, no details. This post, is just a short update afterall.

I went back to AddOn to work part-time. Only on weekends. Even so, my body could not bear the strains of returning to work and suddenly, my mind collapsed. Not physically. My legs were worn out. My head was spinning. Not all the time but a few. I was glad I only worked on weekends.

I wasn't able to hang out with my old buddies as our holidays were not matched. Sadly. And I couldn't go out alot because daddy and mommy nagged about my weekends at work and how I didn't spend too much time with them or on my own. So I stayed home all 3 days of not working. It was seriously boring and a waste of time. I spent the days off lazing about in front of the TV and sleeping my bums away. But then, the last few days which was on the 15th and 19th, I managed to escape home and off to the Karaoke box! I'm addicted to RedBox now. Who's up for some karaoke? :D

Before I went to Genting, I went to get stocks for my yet to-be launched E-Shop. Launch date was on the 12th October. My favourite date indeed. It is currently open and doing so-so. I didn't expect the GEOLens business would have done better than my clothing's boutique. Be that as it may, do check it out and put in your supports for me! (: I'll be needing it loads.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention. I re-dyed my hair. :D Anyhow, the colour still did not turn out the way I wanted it to be. Still, it isn't bright enough for me. And I know, it can still go brigther without the need to bleach. I'll wait till degree. You'll see. (:

Now, after a long 3 weeks break from studies, college has resumed. (: Semester 2, here I come! Subjects? Really tedious. At least in Semester 1, the subject were more interesting.

Do you see what I mean? Well, at least they have Web Designing which makes us work on our HTML codings. Honestly, they're a piece of cake to me as I've been working on it since my early 14th. Lynn should know it well too. (:

Oh yeah! What did I get for Finals? Did I do good? Or am I still the lazy, some old person in high-school? *Buzzer buzzes* You're wrong. I've changed in my studies. I'm studying more effectively in the sense that I pay attention in classes and do my own homework even if there aren't any. My GPA? A surprising 3.216! I know it's not a big deal to all of you who has done and is doing better than me. But hey, I know I've improved. I'm glad. Really glad.

And now, I'll be off again, entertaining the knowledge which are yet to come to me. Interesting, but irrelevant to what I want and need to know for the future to come.


P.S. Even if you do not celebrate Halloween, come on down to TGI's this 31st of October. I'll be there partying all night as a Lady Pirate! Yes, the theme is Pirates. You need not to follow the theme you know. Just come in casuals. :D

Dipping in a Pond of Fishes

Looks like I've been occupied with loads of stupid things. At least now, I'm 100% sure that all assignments are over. Except the Working Journal for Arts. Will get to it this weekend. At the same time, I won't be in because I'll be at my aunts' house tomorrow night and I'll be staying over. D:

Stated in the last post was about the C. Studies debate. It went well. Too bad I ain't posting up any pictures because I have none with me. It is uploaded on Facebook though. :P

I am quite satisfied with my Midterms marks, but really upset about 2 subject. Econs and C.Studies. Didn't do too well though I passed. I know I will get better for the finals, because I can. But I'm just really upset because these 2 subs will drag my CGPA down. D: Oh nooo..!

Over and Done With!

Well, I suppose the talkshow was alright. Though I do know that Siow Ying and Ting Huan weren't really happy because they lost their words. =/ I guess it was partially my fault as I only gave them to memorise the script in less than 48 hours. Forgive me! T-T! And so, many people were recording videos. I don't know why. I did invite extra few people to watch since, we need a bigger, supportive audience? :D All in all, it was good, since Ms Lisa said it wasn't half that bad. Now, I'm awaiting for the C.Studies debate!

Talkshow Awaits!

I'm so freaking nervous for tomorrow. D: Well, nervous ain't the right word for it. More like, worried. The script? Well done. Timing? Good. Visual aids? Should be great. What am I worried for? If the audience gets bored, or when they ask too much questions. I'm really worried that the whole talk would exceed 20 minutes, which is our time limit! Oh my, oh my. T_T Also, I'm worried that there would be technical problems. X_x Hopefully everything goes well, so wish me and my group luck! xP

The Real Taste of College

Finally, I know what is the real definition of the term "assignments". They caused me to skip 2 days of sleep. Not in a row of course. Actually, they didn't, since most of them were in groups. The one that really killed me, Arts. Visual Diary and the Journal made me burn the midnight oil. And guess what? It kinda messed up my sleeping and eating times. Have to get back to the normal schedule before finals come! Which reminds me, I still have Computer Studies debate, Public Speaking talkshow and Arts Exhibition coming up before week 14! Busy bee is buzzing back soon. :P So far, that was the follow up in my life since Midterm ended. Lifeless, no? :D

Pampered by Myself

I went to 1u again today with my mum. Intentionally just to eat, but ended up on a shoe hunt. And guess what? The title says it all! I bought myself one. :D Well, it was supposed to be plain slip ons but instead, I bought heels. T_T None of the slip ons fit me well. Oh jeez, at least I have new heels to wear for presentations! ;P
